1. Who we are
Flux Translations is the trade name of Florencia Paula Kievsky, Certified English Public Translator licensed by the Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (CTPCBA), Book XVII, Page 438, with address at Avenida Cerviño 3584 1°B, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Contact: [email protected].
By requesting a quote or hiring a service, you accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
2. Services
- Certified English translations, made and signed by Florencia Paula Kievsky and, when applicable, legalized by the CTPCBA.
- Certified translations in other languages, made and signed by certified public translators licensed in the corresponding language, who are part of our network.
- Standard professional translations, without a certified public translator's signature, which may be made by translators in our network and reviewed by us.
3. Quote and price
Quotes are free of charge. They state the fixed price, the delivery option, and the estimated turnaround. Fees for certified translations follow the CTPCBA fee schedule in force. Quotes are valid for 10 (ten) calendar days. If the document changes or documents are added, we prepare a new quote. Each order receives an order number, which we will send by email to identify it.
4. Ordering and payment
Work begins once you confirm the quote and full payment, or a 50% advance, has been received through the methods we indicate. If you paid an advance, the balance is due before delivery. We issue the corresponding invoice.
5. What we need from you
- Complete and legible documents, on paper or in digital format.
- The requirements of the institution where you will submit the translation (for example, whether it must be on paper or digital, or whether it needs an apostille).
You are responsible for the legitimacy of the documents you send us and for being authorized to send us third-party data.
6. Turnaround
Delivery times are estimates and start from payment confirmation and receipt of all documents. Legalization depends on the CTPCBA's processing times. We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties, incomplete information or circumstances beyond our control.
7. Delivery
Digitally signed translations are delivered by email in PDF format. Paper translations are delivered within the pickup and delivery area stated in the quote, or collected at a place we agree on.
8. Corrections
If you find an error attributable to us, we correct it free of charge. Changes resulting from incorrect information you gave us, changes to the original document or new requirements of the receiving institution are quoted separately, including a new legalization if necessary.
9. Scope and liability
The translation faithfully reproduces the content of the original document. We do not certify the authenticity or validity of the original document. Acceptance of the translation depends on the requirements of each receiving institution, which we recommend you check before placing your order.
10. Confidentiality
We handle all the information and documents we receive in strict confidence and under professional secrecy, in accordance with Law No. 20,305, the CTPCBA Code of Ethics and Law No. 25,326. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
11. Cancellation and right of withdrawal
If you hire our services remotely, you have the right to revoke your acceptance within 10 calendar days of hiring, under section 34 of Consumer Protection Law No. 24,240 and sections 1110 et seq. of the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code. To exercise it, use the Withdrawal button with the order number shown in your confirmation email, or write to [email protected]. We will send you a request code as proof.
Each translation is custom-made, on your documents and according to your specifications (names, format and requirements of the receiving institution). Therefore, depending on when you exercise this right:
- If we have not started the work yet: we refund the full amount paid.
- If the work was accepted and has been partially started: we refund the portion corresponding to the work not yet translated at the time we receive your request. You only pay for the part already done.
- If the translation has already been delivered: the service has been fully provided and no refund applies, because it is work made to the consumer's specifications and clearly personalized, a case excluded from the right of withdrawal by section 1116(a) of the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code.
12. Intellectual property
The texts, design and Flux Translations brand on this website may not be reproduced without authorization.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights granted by Law No. 24,240, including the right to file claims with the consumer protection authority and the courts of your place of residence.
