What is a certified translation?

In Argentina, a certified translation (traducción pública) follows a special format and is signed by a licensed Certified Public Translator. It is the kind of translation that government agencies, embassies and universities require to give legal validity to a document in another language.

Should I choose the digital or the paper version?

It depends on the requirements of the institution where you will submit it. We suggest you check the requirements for your specific case.

How do I view a legalized translation correctly?

You will receive the legalized translation as a digitally signed PDF. The first thing you see is the legalization; the translation and the original are included as attachments to the PDF. Browsers such as Chrome, Edge or Safari only show the first page of the legalization: you can't open the attachments or validate the signatures.

Thus, you must download the file and open it with a free PDF viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or Foxit PDF Reader. That way, you will be able to see the translation and the original correctly.

How long does it take?

It depends on the length of the document and the delivery option. The turnaround is confirmed in the quote, before we start.

How is the price calculated?

Per word or per page, according to the CTPCBA official fee schedule. We give you a fixed price, legalization included, before we start.
