Legalized translation viewer

Open the PDF of your certified translation and see everything inside it: the legalization, the translation and the original document, even if your browser or phone doesn't show them. You can download each part separately.

Your file is never uploaded to a server: it only opens on your device.

How is a legalized translation put together?

When the Buenos Aires Association of Certified Translators (CTPCBA) legalizes a digital certified translation, it delivers a single PDF: when you open it you see the legalization, and the other documents are inside as file attachments.

Why can't I see the translation or the original when I open my PDF?

Chrome, Edge, Safari and the PDF viewers on phones only show the first document, the legalization, and can't open file attachments. The translation and the original are in the PDF, but those programs don't show them.

What does this viewer do?

It reads the PDF on your device, shows you the first page of each document inside it, and lets you view them in full or download them as separate PDFs. It doesn't change the original file.

How do I validate the digital signatures?

This viewer shows how many digital signatures each document has, but it doesn't validate them. To validate them, download the PDF and open it with a free program, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or Foxit PDF Reader: the signature panel shows whether they are valid, and the attachments panel (the paperclip icon) shows the translation and the original.

Which file do I need to submit for my application?

You need to submit the CTPCBA legalization PDF exactly as you received it, without changes, because its validity lies in the digital signatures of that file.

Is it safe to upload my document to this site?

The file isn't uploaded anywhere: the viewer runs inside your browser and the document never leaves your device.
